What is QKonnekt about and how does it work?
QKonnekt is a social media app designed for people to make in-person connections during their wait times at airports.
Passengers experience long waits, layovers or delays at the airport. In their free time, the QKonnekt app can be used to make real-time connections. Based on the shared interests and likes, the app displays all the QKonnekt users in the vicinity who can be connected to in real-time.

Where can I use the QKonnekt app?
The QKonnekt app is primarily designed to be used at the airport, but it has a lot of potential at other locations like Universities as well.

What languages does the app support?
The app uses English as its primary language for now. We may consider using other major languages in the future.
- How to sign-up for a QKonnekt account/ profile?
QKonnekt can be easily downloaded from bothGoogle Play store or Apple App Store with the latest OS on your phone.In a few simple steps, either with a Google account or any other email account a QKonnekt profile can be created.
- How to delete/ close my QKonnekt account?
There are 2 ways to close your account.
Email to connect@qkonnekt.com and we will delete your account permanently.
In your QKonnekt account, click the profile icon and scroll down to find the "Delete my account" button. Your account will be permanently deleted within 24 hours.
- Is QKonnekt free or do I need to pay for a subscription?
QKonnekt is an absolutely free to download app
- How to edit my goal and interest or my profile details?
In your account login page at the bottom right corner, click the button to access your profile. On the profile page, with the edit option (shown as an edit pen) goals, interests and other details can be changed.
- Why is there phone authentication while I sign-up?
The phone authentication allows us to ensure safety for all our users. By allowing genuine sign-ups, only authentic users are allowed to make connections.
- What do I do if I get locked out of my account, forget my password?How do I reset my password?
With an easy "Forgot your password?" link on the app login page, your password can be retrieved.
- How do I contact QKonnekt team?

- I deleted my account by mistake / I would like to reactivate my account. How do I do that?
Since all your account details are deleted from our system permanently, please re-signup with a new email for an account OR you can email us your request to reactivate the account on connect@qkonnekt.com.
- How do I report about a user / post?

- How do I search for a new connection on the QKonnekt app?
On your home screen in the bottom menu row, there is a + button at the centre, that will let you search for other users in your vicinity.
- Can I upload photos and videos?
Only a profile picture can be added to the user profile. Other than that, no photos and videos can be uploaded currently.
- How to send a message to my contact, privately?
When you are signed in the app, you can browse through and connect to any user available in the vicinity by messaging from the post or by visiting the other person’s profile and clicking connect on their profile.
- How do I post a public post on the QKonnekt account?
On your home screen you will find a Add a post ribbon with a + button at the top. Please click that button to post in public.
- What happens after the connection I requested to connect accepts the invitation?
Once the other person accepts your invitation, both users will be able to send instant private messages to each other. The idea is to connect on the app on private messaging first and only if comfortable meet in person.
